Return & Refund Policy
At Trowel & True, we want you to feel confident in every purchase. Because we partner with U.S.-based suppliers to ship products directly to you, our return process is slightly different from traditional retail—but we’re here to make it as smooth as possible.
Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on most items.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition
- The item must be in its original packaging
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required
Certain items may not be eligible for return, including:
- Final sale items
- Perishable goods (such as seeds or plants, if applicable)
- Items marked as non-returnable
Return Process
Because we work with multiple U.S.-based suppliers, return addresses may vary.
To initiate a return:
- Email us at orders@trowelandtrue.com with your order number and reason for return
- We’ll provide you with return instructions and the correct return address
- Ship the item back using a trackable shipping method
Important: Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as returns sent to the wrong location may not be processed.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect
- Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the item and packaging
We will:
- Offer a replacement, or
- Issue a full refund at no cost to you
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.
If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- Please allow 5–10 business days for processing
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, please return the original item and place a new order.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase. After this window, your order may already be processed or shipped.
